A 50-year-old man from Chepleskei village in Tapsagoi location Turbo sub-county is nursing serious injuries after being attacked by his three daughters’ boyfriends.
Mr. Noah Bondet was attacked by his daughter’s boyfriends after he decided to confront them for misbehaving with his daughters within the same area. The boyfriends vowed to revenge on him after disciplining them.
Mr. Bondet said since the schools were closed following the outbreak of Coronavirus in the country the children have been engaging in bad behavior that has even led to fights between boys who fight over them.
After learning what his daughters were engaged in with a group of boys from the neighboring Kamor village he agreed with the girls’ mother to cane them.
Mr. Bondet blamed his daughters for revealing his plan to the boys what he had in store for them
The boys vowed revenge but when he threatened to take legal action by involving the police, they took to their heels and waited until evening where they waylaid him while returning home at about 7 pm, attacked, and seriously injured him.
“They fought me very badly and I lost two teeth in the incident,” said Mr. Bondet adding the boys warned him never to touch their lovers again.
All of Mr. Bondet’s daughters are high school students the same as two of the daughter’s boyfriends apart from one who dropped out of school.
The girls’ grandmother Mrs. Esther Bondet (74) has expressed her shock following the incident saying she has never seen son-in-laws beating their parents-in-law.
