Since Thursday this week, Nation Media Group have been firing top journalists and editors in a move to cut costs following the losses brought in the media industry by the coronavirus outbreak.
A list seen by Sonkonews.com showed the names of renowned reporters and anchors who were shown the door by the media house.
Among the top journalists fired by NTV include Brenda Wanga, Sharon Baranga, Debarl Inea, and Shaban Ulaya.

Others on the lists are Harith Salim, Lilian Kiarie, Silas Apollo, and Ken Mijungu who had confirmed his departure from the media house.
