A suspected male serial killer linked to the gruesome murders of women in Isiolo County has been arrested. The man is accused of killing women and cutting out their private parts before burying them in separate instances last year.
According to authorities in Isiolo, the bodies of at least two women murdered in similar fashion – both linked to the suspect – have been recovered in Bulapesa and Wabera as a further search and investigations continue.
Isiolo County Commissioner Harman Shambi has since urged members of the public to provide information on any other similar murders to aid in indicting the suspect.
The suspect was arrested by a multi-agency team in Timau, Meru County, before being taken to the Isiolo Police Station where he is presently being held.
