Kenyans online have been shocked beyond words after learning about a man who was sentenced for 3 years in prison.
The man was sentenced at the Kibera Law Courts for the aforementioned years for allegedly stealing shoes worth 500 Kenyan shillings which is roughly USD 5.
There has been a public outcry, especially on social media after the man was given such a steep punishment for a petty crime while other people who seem to have money have been left to stroll in the country.
