Police are holding a man believed to have killed his wife at Tuiyobei location in Kipkelion East constituency.
The suspect surrendered at the police station yesterday afternoon after reportedly fleeing the scene on Thursday night.
He is said to have killed his 32-year-old wife by slashing her on the head with a machete.

Kipsegi Location chief Phillip Koskei said the man, 42, hacked the mother of his five children using a machete while accusing her of infidelity and being a drunkard. “The suspect has been unhappy with his wife for a long time,” he said.
The chief disclosed that the woman died on the way to the hospital due to deep cuts sustained during the fight. The body was moved to Kericho County Hospital mortuary and investigations into the killing continued.
