A suspect appeared before Kibera Law Court to answer charges of luting a minor with food to sexually assault them.
The accused is said to have lured a minor into his house to insert his fingers in her private parts. According to court documents, the accused whose name was withheld committed the offense on March 6, 2020, at his rented house in Kabete, Nairobi.
The accused is said to have lured children into his house to feed them before sending the rest of the children outside while ordering the minor to remain behind.
The suspect could then use the chance he has alone with the minor to insert his finger into the minor’s private parts.
Police reports noted that on a material day, the suspect is said to have called the minor to his house for a later lunch where he served her meal as usual before he directing her to sit close to his bed.
Later that day, the minor’s sister who was looking for passed by the accused person’s house and peeped through an opening on the door. She then saw the minor sandwiched between the accused person’s legs.
She then got suspicious about what was happening to the minor prompting her to push the door open. On opening the door, the accused angrily chased her away from his house.
The sister then rushed to their home to report the matter to their father who also informed his wife about the incident.
The parents went to the house, took the minor from the accused then took her to the hospital before reporting the matter at Kabete police station.
The accused was arrested but was later released on a bond of Ksh.300,000. The case will be mentioned on October 20.
