Machakos Man Develops Strange Illness After A Frog Spat On Him(Video)

Date:

For a long time, there has been a myth that a person should not come into contact with a frog’s saliva because of many reasons, a common one being that it might cause one to develop a rough skin like the amphibian’s.

It is however not clear how true this is but Peter Mutuku from Ivoani village in Muthwani, Machakos county has no reason to doubt the myth after what happened to him.

The father of nine is in dire need of medical attention after he developed strange wounds on his skin following an encounter with a frog

The middle aged man claims that a frog spat on him while he was from his farm and that was the origin of his tribulations.

“On the fateful day, I did not sleep, my body was itching and the wounds started swelling. If anybody knows anyone who can treat me , even if it is at the hospital, if there are medicines it will be okay,” he appealed for help.

Mutuku does not have an income generating job and is not able to afford treatment. He is appealing for anyone who can help him to come through since his family is languishing in poverty.

The area chief, Ndambuki Musoka, noted that since the incident, Mutuku has never received medical attention. His family however believes that their predicament has something to do with witchcraft.

“I would like to call upon anybody who has the heart of giving to help this home that has had a challenge of many mysterious issues to the extent that they believe it is witchcraft although I would not advocate for that,” Musyoka said.
