“Lang’ata You Are Safe With Me,” Jalang’o Officially Launches Campaigns For 2022 Elections

Radio presenter and Comedian Felix Odiwuor better known as Jalang’o officially launched his campaigns on Friday December 10.

The Kiss FM breakfast show host will be vying for the Langata parliamentary seat in next year’s general elections through an ODM ticket.

Jalang’o, who was heading for the Azimio la Umoja convention at the Kasarani stadium  stepped out  in campaign vehicles branded with his campaign posters.

He first made a stopover in Lang’ata where he interacted with the locals. Those who accompanied him donned attires written his campaign slogan, Utu na Watu.

“Good Morning. Langata is ready. #UtunaWatu #Inawezekana,”Jalas shared on his social media accounts.

The comedian was welcomed by a huge group of people which indicated that he is already loved by his constituents.

Currently, the parliamentary seat is being held by Nixon Korir of Jubilee who happens to be Jalang’o’s close friend.

Jalang’o is hopeful that he is going to clinch the seat.

“I am going to be the next MP of Langata. Youths change your votes. Come and vote for us to build a new Langata. I am campaigning for myself. I am very serious, I am the next MP of Langata. Mark this day.I don’t go for things I can’t get. And once I have I said it… start getting used to your future MP,” Jalang’o said in the past.

The comedian is expected to resign from his radio job come February 9, 2022 to concentrate on his campaigns.

”I will quit my radio job on February 9, next year,” he said in an interview with Radio Jambo.

At the same interview, he said that he will begin by fighting corruption once he assumes office.

”My slogan is ‘Utu wa Watu’, I am so humane and that is what people should understand. Once you are humane, you will not squander funds allocated for development. Corruption is what I want to deal with first,” Jalang[o said.
