Konshens Acquires A Kenyan Name After New Year’s Eve Concert

Jamaican dancehall artist Garfield Spence, popularly known as Konshens, really enjoyed his short stay in the country.

Konshens was in the country for the New Year’s Eve Concert on December 31 and the singer was shown lots of love from Kenyans.

Because of the overwhelming love and support, the dancehall artist indicated that he had accepted to go by the name that he was given by Kenyans which is Otieno.

Through a tweet, Konshens also said that he will be returning to the country after 2 or three years.

“Nuff love Kenya,Its been real, our bond is stronger than ever. See you in 2/3years. Konshens Otieno,” the Thank God Fi Di Gal Dem singer shared.

His post received some hilarious comments with some making a poster for him and requested that he goes for a senatorial seat on a UDA ticket since the electioneering period is fast approaching and that they will ensure that he emerges victorious.

“Chama cha UDA we’ve endorsed yopu for Nairobi senator 2022… August we’ll force u to win. Otherwise next time come with Jamaican ladies we need to touch those soft a***s pia ulete Popcorn etc they made our high school life lit,” Mkisii wa Nairobi’s response read.

“hope you met your all time crush @AnnitahRaey coz you the reason she refused my proposal,” a twitter user said.

“Konshens Otieno you forgot to pick your ID, remember it’s an Election year & @RailaOdingavalues your vote.@StateHouseKenya,” Googi George said.
