Kibor’s Mpango Wa Kando Children Face It Rough As They Are Blocked From Burial Plans

Date:

Three people, a woman and two middle aged men had gone to court in a bid to stop the Friday burial of the late Jackson Kibor.

The three had asked the court during today’s hearing to issue orders that would stop the family of the late Jackson Kibor from burying him until the issues raised before the judge were addressed. However, the court declined to issue such orders because the applicant did not serve all the respondents on time as per the constitution.

Eldoret Senior Resident Magistrate Barnabas Kiptoo instead ordered the applicants to serve all the respondents in the case to enable him come up with the hearing date.

Besides, two of the respondents had not filed their responses and it made it technically difficult for the court to go on with the case. Consequently, the matter will be heard on 19th April when all the parties will be present to take part.

“In the absence of the parties, the matter cannot proceed. I direct the matter to be heard on April 19 before court three,” directed the magistrate as the burial ceremony went on as planned in Kabenes village in Eldoret.

According to a local publication, Albert Kibor, Elizabeth J Koskei and Joseph K Misoi had on 28th had gone to court demanding that they be allowed to fully take part in the burial arrangement of their dad.

The issue was initially filed before Eldoret principal Magistrate Noami Wairimu under the certificate of emergency.

They argued that Jackson Kibor’s fourth wife Eunitah Chelimo Kibor, his sons Philip Kibor and Richard Sile had intentionally locked them out of funeral plans.

As a result, they wanted the court to stop the family from proceeding with the burial plans, something which did not see the light of day as Jackson Kibor’s burial went on as planned on Friday with the three not getting an opportunity to take part.

On their side, this is how Kenyans reacted t the news of these mpango wa kando children only showing up at the time of death:

“The greedy women still wants the share from our chairman ??we will not allow ,,we only know the 4 wife’s and the kids ,,hao wengine ,is null and void ,,,, rest in peace kiongozi.”

“If somebody didn’t recognize you when he was a live and you did not fought to be recognize or given inheritance then forget about it an vouch for your own life.”

“They should leave him to rest in peace….where were they when he was alive?? They’re just after his wealth.”

“And this should goes to all men hao mpango wa kando wanawaleta shida wakati wa mazishi be open to ur family.”

“And where did Opondo Kalumas bill on sidechicks go to! These lazy cunning and idle Kenyan ladies who disturb the dead should be given a stopper for once! And by the way, were they aware that Chairman had a family! Adui ya mwanamke ni mwanamke mwenzake. The kind of ladies boasting to be single and independent but their private parts seriously and intensively dating day and night!”
