Tanzanian gospel singer Rose Muhando is on the trending list again after making public her prayer request for 2022.
In an Instagram post promoting her new song dubbed Ombi langu, the songstress said that she was praying to God to give a rich white husband.
“Yesu nitendee, Yesu unitendee, Ombi langu mwaka huu nataka nipate mume mzungu na mwenye ela…unaweza nitumia na wewe challenge yako ya Ombi lako uku ukiandika na ombi lako unalotaka Mungu akufanyie mwaka huu 2022,” Muhando said.

Kenyans on twitter however have not let that go by especially after it was alleged that Muhando had a one night stand with a popular blogger identified as Abraham Mutai.
The expose was made by a young man who claimed he worked at the reception at a club in Thika where the two had spent the night.
“You slept with Rose Muhando in 2018 at club image thika room 4. You remember that short guy at the reception, ni mimi,” the twitter user responded in one of Mutai’s post which led to Muhando trending at number two in Kenya.
The singer however never addressed the issue while Mutai denied the allegations saying that his lawyers would take up the matter.
“Unlike William RUTO, I CATEGORICALLY state that I neither slept with Rose Muhando in Room 4 in Thika, or any other town. In fact, since I was born, I eschew number 4. I would have requested a room change. My lawyers are soon visiting that short receptionist,” Mutai tweeted.
Following her prayer request, a section of Kenyans are now wondering what had gotten into Muhando as she had been an icon whom they looked up to.
“The icon, the only good example of our time, like my dad would buy CDs of Rose Muhando and even had collections of her songs in the house. She was our hope of the Christian journey. Now she wants a rich white man, the end of the world is here,” Introvert said.
“So rose muhando problem is not marriage but money. Mumwambie kiatu alicho kivaa akivue,” Dominic Gitonga said.

Muhando is a mother of three grown children whom she got while she was living in the streets but has never been married.
