Kenyans on social media are irked after watching a 4-minute long clip of a young Kenyan being manhandled and assaulted in the UK by six UK officers.
The Kenyan man has been identified as Wycliff Cox who was roughed up over alleged breach of bail terms.
The assault incident was captured in an undated video that emerged on social media last week sparking outrage and at the same adding fuel to the ‘Black Lives Matter’ debate against racism.
The officers are seen on the clip pinning down Wycliff to the ground while pressing his neck while his family members are watching in dismay. His mother is heard on the background screaming, and begging them saying: “please don’t kill my son.”
With his face bleeding, hands and legs tied, Wycliff is carried away by the officers into a waiting vehicle.

Kenya has taken action on the matter through the Kenya High Commission in the United Kingdom demanding justice over the assault of a Kenyan national by police officers in Colchester, Essex.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Kenya High Commission in the United Kingdom called for action against the officers over the use of unnecessary force on the unarmed man.
“The Kenya High Commission in the United Kingdom has received a disturbing video that has been making rounds on social media where police officers in Colchester, Essex are seen to assault a Kenyan national, Mr. Wycliff Cox,” reads the statement.
