Nominated senator Millicent Omanga’s academic qualification has been put on the spot after she massacred English language.
Omanga made grammatical mistakes while tweeting at a time when discussions about fake certificates is still rife.
The fake certificate scandal started after Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi was exposed for forging KCSE and diploma certificates.
A handful of mostly firebrand politicians have since been put on the spot over questionable academic credentials.
Millicent Omanga joined that list on Friday October 29th when she took to Twitter to express her frustrations with the sorry state of sports in Kenya.
Omanga was reacting to news about Kasarani and Nyayo stadia being banned from hosting international matches for failing to meet FIFA standards.
“We sunk billions of shillings to renovate Nyayo and Kasarani stadia yet they still don’t meet international standards as outlined by FIFA. They won’t host any international marches. What a huge disappointed!” Omanga tweeted.

The nominated senator made two grammatical mistakes on her tweet which made Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) to go HAM on her.
She wrote ‘marches’ when she was referring to “matches” and also said “what a huge disappointed” instead of “what a huge disappointment”.
KOT quickly questioned Millicent Omanga’s academic credentials after she made the two grammatical errors on her tweet.
Some tweeps mocked Omanga’s academic qualifications saying that she went to the same imaginary high school with her Tangatanga colleague Oscar Sudi.
Its not only Oscar Sudi who should be questioned on matters to do with his Education background and his papers, but also here we have Millicent Omanga with, marches =Matches
