Former Citizen Tv News anchor Jacque Maribe seems to be seeing another man if the latest photos are anything to go by.
From the photos in possession of Sonko News, the visibly drunk Jacque Maribe was enjoying some public love and could not contain herself but chew the lips of some man like sausages.
The veteran journalist was in the company of two men as they enjoyed their alcohol, shisha and cigarettes.
Jacque Maribe has been at the center of controversy when it comes to her relationship matters with Kenyans wondering where she stands.
At some point, she was involved in wars of words with comedian Eric Omondi after she accused him of being a deadbeat dad to their son.
However, Eric Omondi denied dating Maribe since she was married to Citizen TV’s Sam Ogina. As a result, he revealed that he only ate Jacque Maribe once in a one night stand since she was a married woman and he had to release her to go back to her husband the same night.
“It was really a one night thing because she was dating KTN’s Sam Ogina at the time. WE USED PROTECTION!!! After two Months Jacque tells me she’s Pregnant!!! I immediately ask her how since we used Protection??? She then tells me “It doesn’t matter the mother always knows who the Father is and that I am the Father!” Eric wrote.
According to Eric’s post, Sam could be the father of Maribe’s 7-year old son and that is why he was demanding for a DNA test to be sure he was the father and raise him up comfortably.
Sam denied Eric’s allegations saying that at the time Eric had ‘a thing’ with Maribe he was dating his wife Njeri.
“For the avoidance of doubt, this is me and Njeri at the same party in 2012. Eric had for long eyed Njeri and he has never gotten over the fact that she chose me and we are married. Eric, provoke me further and I will release the disgusting skeleton pictures you used to send her,” Ogina wrote.
In an interview with Mzazi Willy M. Tuva on his Mseto East Africa show, Eric accused Jacque of failing to protect her son.
“I meant what I posted. Maribe has really failed me. As a mother, she has failed in protecting her son as everyone knows her son is mine. We had kept these under wraps for seven years. Why expose it now?”
In the meantime, the veteran comedian asked Ogina to forgive him but still maintained that he dated Maribe.
“I want to ask for his forgiveness, I panicked and in a rush to wash my brand I ended up mentioning him. So I wanted to say all the details to explain why I wanted DNA. It’s true they dated but mentioning him was unnecessary. I would have said she was dating a popular news anchor,” Eric told Tuva
On her side Jacque Maribe had previously set the record straight on the nature of her relationship with Eric Omondi after a section on online users insinuated she was back together with the funnyman. The mother of one explained that because she has a child with Eric, they are constantly in communication sometimes for hours, but maintains it’s just co-parenting.
“Yes. To all the questions on call and my messages and DM’s. Ati ‘are you back with Eric and are you upset with Eric?’ I do have a child with @ericomondi and we love him to the end of the world. We speak a lot, for hours,” she wrote.
According to Jacque, her relationship with Eric was purely on parental basis and she had no plans whatsoever of getting back together with him.
“We have chosen to raise our beautiful son in our way, not expecting anyone to understand us. We love each other as parents. Leo tea is just tea,” she added.
With regards to how they began dating with Eric, this is what the former Citizen TV News anchor wrote:
“Eric and I were very good friends for about five years before we made the decision to cross that line and start dating. By the time we realized that we were expecting, I was very excited. I really wanted a baby and had gone through all the motions of trying to get one. I was at a space where this was what I wanted and was genuinely actively working towards it. But I think for Eric and his career, he wasn’t very sure about the path he should take. Not speaking ill of him, but at that time he had this ‘ladies man’ image, there was no space for a child in that mix,” she said.
