Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Sudi has termed the whole incident surrounding the stoning of Raila’s chopper at Jackson Kibor’s burial in Kabenes, Uasin Gishu county.
According to Oscar Sudi, the whole thing was a mere upuzi ya kisiasa (political nonsense) aimed at targeting key allies of William Ruto.
As a result, Sudi castigated the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and maintained that he will not be harassed by the system over the stoning of Raila’s chopper.
The Kapseret member of parliament even revealed that he planned to open his church today but he will just cancel the important event and present himself to the DCI in Nakuru as ordered by the national police service.
Oscar Sudi even wondered why the DCI was on his neck yet he had personally apologized to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader on Saturday at one of the burials.
“Na ata jana asubui nimeamka nimeenda mazishi ya mwalimu wangu Mr. Bor na nyinyi waandishi wa habari mlikuwa hapo tukiongea kuhusu hayo maneno tukisema hiyo ilikuwa ujinga na tukaomba msamaha mbele ya runinga. Sasa mimi sijui hi ingine ya siasa yeney sasa mnasema tuende kwa DCI (Even yesterday when i woke up to atende the burial ceremony of my former teacher Mr. Bor and you news reporters were there when we apologized before the public. So i don’t understand why the DCI is telling us to present ourselves again to Nakuru.” Complained the DCI.
“Mimi nataka niambie wenye wametuita kule Nakuru we are available. Nilikuwa na kazi mingi nilipanga kuna kanisa yenye nilipanga kufungua leo asubui na makazi zingine yangu mingi. Lakini nisawa tutaenda tuskie hizo upuzi Nakuru.” he lamented.
Oscar Sudi’s statement comes just a day after the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) put him at the center of the melee which saw Raila’s chopper attacked by hired goons at Kabenes, uasin Gishu county.
Others who were put at the center of the attack by the DCI were Uasin Gishu County Assembly Speaker David Kipagat and Soi Constituency member of parliament Caleb Kositany.
