Contrary to many beliefs, Veteran lawyer Mr. Ambrose Rachier has refuted claims that freemasonry is devil worshiping.
Ambrose Rachier while speaking to Duncan Khaemba of NTV on Sunday confessed that he joined freemasonry in 1994, a move which he has never regretted to date.
According to him, freemasonry is such a normal thing and those who join it are very good people in the society who are interested in charity works.
To join them, Rachier stated that the bar is too high and that whoever joins freemasonry has to have high morals in the society. For instance, he gave an example of wash wash people, thieves and those with evil deeds in society. In his own terms, these people if admitted would ruin their good image and make the society view them in a certain way.
Besides, he explained that you must be a good citizen that obey laws and to be mindful of other people’s welfare so that you change people’s lives by doing good to humanity.
Interestingly, Ambrose Rachier refuted the common rumors that freemasonry involves human sacrifices especially those very close family members.
With regards to why many Africans are not in freemasonry, Ambrose rachier disclosed that the suspicion and the myths revolving around it have made people stay away from it.
Asked whether the name of Jesus rattles them, rachier made it clear that they don’t invoke the name of Jesus and that they only conduct the church parade held only once a year in March.
On their side, Kenyans had different reactions with others reading with suspicion especially how he kept avoiding some questions from Mr. Duncan Khaemba. For example, he failed to disclose where they do their charity and who really benefits from their money.
Ambrose rachier also refused to explain the kind of attires they put on whenever they go to meet every evening from 6 PM onwards at the freemasonry hall near Lang’ata.
