Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris was attacked by goons as she went about her campaigns in Westlands on Monday.
The incident took place at Deep Sea in Parklands and according to a video that surfaced online, a group of youths attacked her campaign vehicle with stones.
A number of common citizens could be seen escaping the scene to safety when things got a bit ugly.

Without hesitation, a desperate Passaris took to social media to call for help from Interior CS Fred Matiang’i as well as the police.
She claimed that the thugs were demanding money from them and had taken charge of their vehicle’s key.
“@PoliceKE@CMatiangiour convoy under attack. We are in Westlands near Deepsea. Help. The thugs have taken our truck keys and are demanding money to give back our keys. We are stranded inside the truck. We know the thugs. They have broken our windscreen. Help,” Passaris wrote.

Some of her followers sympathized with her as others questioned how she knew the thugs as others suggested that the chaos had been stage managed.
“Pole kwa hayo… But how do you know the thugs??? Any relationship? Anyway, if it’s true pole sana, But again when the county government demolished hustler’s Houses and business you went silence, ooh sorry, kumbe maskini Hana lake. Sorry for that anyway,” Wallnicho said.
“Pathetic Liar…..see how the other gender can play victim? One is tweeting while being attacked? she is from ”utaniua ” fraternity,” Asewe Bin Asewe said.
