Did The Senators Eat Uhuru’s 5 Million, And Failed To Deliver?

Date:

Five Senators have been having a tough week after State Agencies turned the heat on them, in what looks like a revenge mission.

In a strange twist, about five Senators started complaining about having their accounts frozen. Then on Sunday, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator and former Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen claimed that DCI was after the Samburu Senator was to be arrested on Sunday.

He tweeted
“DCI has been ordered to arrest&prefer false charges against at least 5 Senators opposed to the oppressive Revenue Formula. They are currently going for Sen.Dr. Steve Ltumbesi Lelegwe, Samburu County. Desperation is real. Arrest any of us and there will be no session tomorrow. “

Last Thursday, Senator Aaron Cheruiyot claimed that the bank accounts belonging to Senators Malala and Linturi were frozen.

However, a Tweet by Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina about some mysterious 5 million that was being dished in the Senate appears to be the trigger of the drama.

Ole Kina swore last week that he witnessed some State Operatives dishing out the 5 million, and lamented that his colleagues were being bought.

But when things failed to go the Government way, claims of 5 Senators taking the 5 million, and failing to vote as instructed surfaced.

Could we be witnessing the backlash against them for failing to keep their word?

Sonko News will be updating you on the latest developments in the dramatic fight about the. Revenue Sharing Formula.
