Musician Bahati on Friday paid a visit to his baby mami Mama Mueni at the Tender Care Junior academy where their daughter goes to school.
While breaking the news, Bahati revealed that he was happy to keep in touch with Mama Mueni during their daughters pre-school graduation.
“Now attending My Daughter’s Pre- School Graduation Ceremony. Thank You Mama Mueni for Making Our Co- Parenting Easy! My God Bless you; May God Bless Our Daughter @Mueni_Bahati ?” Wrote Bahati who shared a lovely photo of his ex and daughter.
However, our sources close to Diana Marua revealed to us that she was not happy with the visit and opted to give it a wide berth. According to Diana Marua, there was no way she would share a platform with her husband’s baby mama.
As a result, the source further disclosed that Bahati visited his ex without the blessings of Diana Marua. Bahati is said to have insisted that he was only going to pay a visit to his daughter and not to share romantic moments with the ex wife. He therefore assured Diana to stop being insecure for nothing.
Bahati is one of those celebrities who have not shied away from openly taking care of kids sired outside marriage.
In fact, the gospel singer was at some point forced to beg his baby mama Yvette Obura to forgive him for hiding his daughter Mueni from the public for many years.
In a long post written on Instagram, the talented male singer said he was afraid of being judged by society, hence opting to hide the daughter.
“Your birth was one of my happiest moments but yet a tough one for me since I was at my peak as a gospel artiste then,” he said.
With regards to how he got the child, Bahati added that he got Yvette pregnant after being awarded as the Male Artiste of the Year Groove Awards and Afrimma’s Best Gospel Act in Africa.
“I was judged and ended up being a hypocrite by not accepting my blood. This is another opportunity to ask for forgiveness from the Mum and my daughter for keeping you as a secret and away from the public for almost two years,” he said.
“It is not what I wished for but because of what I lived for, Gospel Music, which should have not been the case; it’s not Godly to be a pretender.”
He went ahead to thank his daughter Mueni for for giving him the title of ‘dad’
“And to you, Mama Mueni Yvette, thank you for choosing peace above and creating a conducive environment as we both raise this beautiful princess @Mueni_Bahati.”
The musician also commended Yvette for making it easy for them to co-parent.
“Your relationship with my wife Diana and the positivity that both of you portray is not only an inspiration to many families out there but also to me.”
