Details Leak How Hillary Mutyambai Let Down The DeepState At Bomas As He Begins Sick Leave

Date:

Details have emerged on some of the fatal mistakes the Inspector-General of Police Hillary Mutyambai committed during the election period.

According to credible sources, Hillary Mutyambai is believed to have slept on his job at the most critical time the country needed him.

It is alleged that the Bomas event was the beginning of his downfall after he failed to secure the place and take charge of all the activities at the national Tallying Center amidst chaos from Azimio and Kenya Kwanza political leaders.

For some time, there were violent dramatic scenes at Bomas of Kenya and Sonko News has learnt that the blames are being directed at the Inspector general of police for not coordinating his officers well to make Bomas a secure place prior to the arrival of either Raila or Ruto accompanied by their bodyguards.

This source believes that the move by deputy president William Ruto to guard IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati with his own security did not go well with some forces that matter since it created the perception of bias in the eyes of the public and the international community.

That Ruto through his assigned security is the one who brought back Chebukati to the chambers and sat near him at Bomas was not anticipated. This was a helpless moment by both the deep state and the national Security Council since Ruto was in full control and not them.

Consequently, Hillary Mutyambai is said to have been blamed for such a monumental failure on an important day and failing to provide security at the hour of need as opposed to allowing presidential candidates to secure the place with their assigned officers.

At the same time, the source believes that this failure might have contributed to the Inspector general of police going on an abrupt leave with his deputy Noor Gabow taking over his duties.

Mutyambai, without revealing more about what he was suffering from said that he would go for a medical check up.

“This is to inform the general public that I will be away from office attending to a medical check-up effective today. In my absence, Noor Gabow, the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Administration, will act as the IG of the National Police Service until my return,” said Mutyambai.

Hillary Mutyambai was last seen in public on July 31st 2022 during the commissioning of the 27-kilometre Nairobi Expressway.
