Dennis Okari reacts to Mugo wa Wairimu incarceration

Dennis Okari is one happy man after learning about the Court’s ruling over the case of the quack doctor, Mugo Wa Wairimu a few days ago.

The investigative reporter was the one responsible for investigating the quack doctor for close to 3 months back in 2018 and he’s happy that he has been put behind bars for over a decade.

“I investigated this quack doctor Mugo wa Wairimu for nearly 3 months back in 2018.” Dennis Okari shared on social media.

The Fake doctor James Mugo alias Mugo wa Wairimu was sentenced to 11 years in jail for operating an unlicensed clinic.

Nairobi Resident Magistrate Martha Nanzushi found Mugo guilty of all the six counts brought against him.

“The accused is convicted on his own plea of guilt and will suffer the consequences of his actions as provided in the law. I am satisfied that the case has been proved as per the facts presented by the prosecution,” ruled Nanzushi.

“I painfully watched his deranged activities and what he did to women in his clinic, finally justice has been served.” Dennis Okari went on, “Jailed for 11 years, fine Sh 1.4M.”

The judgment marked the end of the road for the man who operated a clinic in Nairobi offering medicare to women. However, the magistrate gave Mugo the option of paying a fine of Sh1,420,000.
