Comedian Jalang’o Reveals Why He Sold His Luxurious Cars

Date:

Comedian and radio presenter Felix Odiwour or better known as Jalang’o has left netizens surprised after revealing that he sold all his luxurious cars.

Speaking during an interview with plug TV, the radio presenter said that he nowadays only drives hired cars.

“Mimi sina gari, sina gari hata moja, siku hizi nahire tu, gari niliuza zote,” Jalang’o said.

According to Jalang’o, he sold his cars because cars always depreciate and that is why he now prefers hiring to buying them.

“Kama naweza pewa ya kuhire why would I have mine. Si unajua gari ni kitu inadepreciate, nunua shamba wachana na gari ,” he said.

He further said that it is very expensive to maintain a car, another reason why he is not considering buying one.

“Gari ni kama msichana, leo inataka mechanic, kesho polisi amekushika, kesho imepata accident,” he added.

Jalang’o revealed he used the proceeds from the sale of his vehicles on investments that are yet to be completed.

This comes barely months after the comedian revealed that he owns 6 expensive cars.

“I have a V8, Overfinch (Range Rover), Mercedes SLK, Mercedes V-Class and a Discovery. Kenyans know them,” Jalang’o said in an interview.

Regarding the wash wash business, the comedian said that if the business really existed most of the people would not be working now.

“Fanya kazi mpaka uitwe mwizi, put your hands up, make sure that you do legit business that is the only way, there is no short cut in life. Don’t even try,” he advised.

He also denied knowing any person who deals with the business.

“Ningekuwa najua singeweza fanya hizi makazi mingi, I really don’t think that there is anybody who knows those businesses, those are just conmen” Jalang’o said.

Jalang’o was one of the celebrities who was linked to wash wash business by blogger Edgar Obare.
