All is not well for Bevalyne Kwamboka, a chips seller based in Embakasi South days after she exposed nominated senator Millicent Omanga as a scam.
Sonko News has learnt that the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has warned Bevalyne Kwamboka for setting up a business in a wrong place which is supposed to serve pedestrians.
KURA through a tweet termed the young lady’s business as not only illegal but also an infringement to the rights of the pedestrians.
“This is illegal and an infringement to Pedestrian rights, The Footbridges and walkways are meant for Pedestrian passage and not any form of business.” Read the tweet.
Nominated senator Millicent Omanga was exposed by this lady who hinted at being misused by Omanga in a bid to gain political mileage.
Millicent Omanga had a few days ago claimed that she empowered Bevalyne Kwamboka by providing her with umbrellas, money and stock to boost her hustle.
“Bevalyne Kwamboka is now sorted. Umbrella, cash and stock to boost her hustle. Mvua au jua haitamharibia biashara tena. Now let’s go eat those chips.” Tweeted Omanga while flooding the social media pages with the lady’s photos.
However, Bevalyne Kwamboka came from her hiding to vehemently deny the hype that Millicent Omanga posted about empowering her.
According to this woman, the nominated senator only bought for her waru for 350 Kenya shillings and also took photos with some umbrellas which she immediately returned to her car.
“For clarification, team @MillicentOmanga only bought waru za 350 came out of the vehicle with 5 umbrellas, took photos returned them and gave out one and two aprons. Hiyo mambo ya cash haikua plus stock ni ya 350. Hizo waru gunia kubwa i had bought and started the day.” She tweeted.
However, the nominated senator maintained that she indeed helped Bevalyne Kwamboka with the items she mentioned in her post, further confusing Kenyans with regards to who was telling the truth.
“When it was brought to my attention, that Kwamboka had publicly requested for an umbrella to help shield her from rain and sun as she does her chips business, I immediately dispatched my team to visit her and offer her the help she needed.” Said Omanga.
