The late outgoing president Pierre Nkurunziza’s mother, Domtillie Minani has passed on a day her son died of a heart attack at Karusi Fiftieth Anniversary Hospital.
The mother of the late president is reported to have died of Covid-19.
The wife of the president is also battling the deadly virus at the Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi. The sister of the president is also reported to be battling the virus at a hospital.
It has also been reported that the President-elect Evariste has been admitted at Bumureki Hospital in the country’s capital; Bujumbura.
God Forbid! But in case the President-elect dies from the disease, his position will be taken by the speaker who sadly is also sick of Covid-19.
