Biden Visits Family Graveside A Day After His Election

Date:

President-elect Joe Biden in company of his family this evening paid a visit to the family gravesite a day after his election.

Biden and his family members walked through the cemetery where he buried his first wife Neilia, his late son Beau and his late daughter Naomi. The wife and the daughter died in a fatal road accident involving a car crash in 1972.

His son Beau succumbed to brain cancer in 2015 and was 46 years by the time of his death. Biden’s visit comes few days when he visited that cemetery in the morning of election day.

Former first lady Michelle Obama had told Americans to vote for Biden in the oncoming election. According to Michelle, Biden was a strong man who had gone through difficult life challenges.

She cited how the president-elect had been there for the nation even at his most trying moments of losing the loved ones. True to her words, Americans obliged and elected Joe Biden as their next president.
