Embakasi East MP Babu Owino was on Sunday, May 25 hosted by K24’s news anchor Anne Kiguta on her talk show – Punchline to discuss various topics.
The interview saw the young legislature discuss various matters such as evictions happening within his constituency, his online teaching, and the gun shooting incident that he was involved in.
The one topic that caught the netizens’ eye was how relentless the TV anchor was to squeeze the member of parliament to talk about the shooting incident. However, Babu was in no mood and constantly retaliated that the issue was before the court of law and he won’t discuss it.

Either way, some of the twitter users defended Ann Kiguta and demanded the MP to take charge of his action. Some of the users like Dr. Miguna Miguna were critical on MP and even accused him of several murder cases.
Babu Owino is currently facing murder charges after he allegedly shot Felix Orinda alias DJ Evolve at a night club in Nairobi early this year.
