Baba Gloria Speaks A Month After Sharing Explicit Content In A Funeral Whatsapp Group

Date:

Leonard Githinji aka Baba Gloria became an online sensation in October after he accidentally shared explicit content in a funeral WhatsApp group.

Members of the group called Mr. Njuki send off were making contributions of the funeral when the erotic message popped up.

A swift member of the group took a screenshot of the message before Baba Gloria could delete it.

Weeks after the embarrassing incident, Baba Gloria has come out to narrate the encounter.

In a YouTube interview, the father of two said that he was following the group chats, when he placed the phone in his pocket without locking the screen and that’s how the scandal was born.

“The admin called me, telling me to delete the message faster. Unfortunately, someone had taken a screenshot of the chats,” he said.

The viral screenshot caused Githinji a lot of pressure as many people would contact him through his number that was leaked as well.

“My phone was ringing uncontrollably, with people wanting to know Baba Gloria…some were sending me money.  I had almost 20,000 messages on my WhatsApp,” he narrated.

He  further said that most of his friends abandoned him after the scandal and only few wanted to associate with him.

“I was abandoned by people close to me. My friends abandoned me. Only a few told me the storm has calmed,” he said.
