Azimio La Umoja governors are at a retreat in Naivasha. Raila Odinga says President William Ruto’s regime is ill-equipped to lead, and has no idea how to resolve Kenya’s issues.
Raila Odinga wonders why they are still preoccupied with politics instead of manifesto promise delivery. The Azimio La Umoja crisis meeting is being presided over by Raila Odinga in Naivasha.
Present at the retreat taking place in Naivasha were Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and NARC Kenya Leader Martha Karua.
Top opposition leaders had been warming up to President William Ruto leading to this crisis and strategy meeting.
Ruto has engaged with some of the governors of Azimio, who have pledged to collaborate with him without conditions. This has worried the opposition and it’s top leadership.
Additionally, the coalition’s political plan for the elections in 2027 will be discussed during the meeting.
The meeting will also provide the Azimio leaders with a chance to address Ruto’s access to some of it’s members.
James Orengo, Fernandes Barasa, George Natembeya, Gladys Wanga, Abdulswamad Sheriff Nassir, and Ochilo Ayacko are just a few of the governors in present.
