The no nonsense Lawyer Miguna Miguna and Joe Ageyo were on several occasions involved in a bitter war of words during their Friday interview.
Known for not mincing his words, the lawyer who shoots straight was forced to tell off Joe Ageyo who was trying to gag him not to make some sensitive points.
For instance, Miguna claimed that Raila received money from former president Uhuru to betray him, an allegation which did not go well with Mr. Ageyo.
Consequently, the celebrated journalist pressed Miguna to provide evidence to back his allegation, but the lawyer could not take it anymore.
Left with no choice, Miguna accused Ageyo of protecting Raila Odinga, insisting that he would make his point whether NTV liked it or not.
The lawyer who was getting agitated by Ageyo’s move to gag him even threatened to walk out of the studio if he could not be allowed to make his points freely in his own way.
Besides, the lawyer stated that the Directorate of Public Prosecution ought to be sent home with DCI Kinoti since the two worked together during president Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime.
According to Miguna, DPP Noordin Haji was equally incompetent since he was the one prosecuting most of the cases after the DCI under the leadership of George Kinoti forwarded the files to him. Consequently, he called upon the head of state to kick out and prosecute Mr. Haji too for a complete overhaul.
At the same time, he revealed that he may be available to serve his country at the National level if an opportunity presented itself.
However, the lawyer made it clear that he will not be available to be appointed as a Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS), a post which he termed as illegal.
