Former Machakos first lady Lillian Ng’ang’a has disclosed that she is now a better person with her current darling Juliani than she was with ex husband Alfred Mutua.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Nation, Lillian Ng’ang’a described her relationship with musician Juliani as a good person as she described their love as ‘the last piece of a jigsaw puzzle.’
As a result, the former Machakos first lady castigated those that have been claiming that Juliani was not her best choice.
“It is very unfortunate to see people say unpleasant things about me and Juliani thinking that It was a wrong choice for me. Who decides? I’m a better person with him than I was. I wake up with Juliani and tell him, darling, I thank God for a new day with you,” she said.
With regards to what attracted her to Juliani, Lillian revealed that their perceptions and values about life were matching, adding that the musician made his own brand unlike Mutua who was made popular by virtue of being in government.
People have been brought up to look at money as everything and so we should work hard, get jobs, become rich then crash everybody our way up. So when people talk about Juliani in a certain way and Alfred in another, it is because the latter is in government,” she posed.
“It would have been easy for me to stay with Alfred because, with him, I didn’t have to work and life was good and comfortable, but up to what point?” Said Lillian.
At the same time, she confessed that she met her former lover Mutua and were romantically engaged when he was still married to his first wife.
Lillian even admitted that Mutua fell in love with her and went ahead to not only give her a ring but also move into her small house in Nairobi’s Lang’ata.
“He told me he was certain that he wanted me in his life but he did not know how, because he was married,”
“Alfred gave me a ring and told me to have it because he wanted me in his life,” she added.
She also confessed that she was not keen on dating a married man, hence making them break up after one month of dating. However, the governor who could not imagine dropping her used all the means to win her back.
“I told him he would not get me back until everything is clear. He did so much to get me back. The man really tried to get me back. I give him an A+ for the effort. He later told his wife that he was seeing someone else and that it was serious and that it was serious and that’s when he moved in with me,” Nganga recalled.
