Kenya midfielder Richard Odada’s Grafica has been promoted to Serbian top-flight football league after the team comes second in the Prva Liga (Second division).
Odada’s team came second in the second tire with 54 points, the same points as league winners Cajetina to earn automatic promotion to the top league. The midfielder joined the Serbian club on a six-month loan from parent club Red Star Belgrade who have already been crowned league champions and will present the county in the next season’s UEFA Champions League.
Richard Odada will now return to his parent club as he seeks an opportunity in the first team ahead of the new season. Grafica act as the official feeder club for Partizan.
Harambee Star goalscorer, Michael Olunga featured at the weekend for the Japan top side, Kashiwa Reysol, and won 4 -2 against their rivals Consaddole Sapporo. In the match, striker Olunga opened his J1 League maiden campaign with a brace.
In Sweden, midfielder Erick Johanna managed to play 80 minutes for Sodra as they recorded a 2-1 win against Ljungskile on Tuesday.

Elsewhere Kenya International Ayub Timbe did not feature for the English Second Division, Reading in a match against Stoke City. Timbe moved to England side from the Chinese side Beijing Renhe earlier this year. Timbe was an unused substitute in the match that was played at the weekend.
Joesph Akumu appeared for his side IF Elfsborg for the entire 90 minutes in a match that ended goalless against Helsingborg. The defender is also expected to feature in the Swedish quarter-finals where his team will try and win a fourth title in the 60-year-old competition.
