This enhanced speed will significantly reduce travel times and facilitate the efficient movement of goods and people throughout Tanzania.

The South Korean-made train, coupled with the Turkish/Chinese-built railway line, is poised to become one of Africa’s most advanced cargo and passenger rail system.

According to experts, complete acquisition could trigger Tanzania to expand its railway system due to trains reliability.

It will also significantly help in growing their economy since most countries would prefer using their rail for faster delivery of various goods.

However, they did not state when exactly the SGR would start operating.
