How Ruto is Giving Kenya Kwanza MPs ‘Character Development’ in Their Bids to be Super Rich

Date:

President William Ruto’s administration is giving Kenya Kwanza unexpected character development in their bids to become multimillionaires.

According to President Ruto’s Economic Advisor, David Ndii, some lawmakers joined Kenya Kwanza on the basis that they would win big tenders.

However, most them have been left in utter shock and disbelief for failing to land the tenders.

Ndii argued that most of them thought they could just walk in big parastatals and walk out with signed multimillion checks on various government tenders.

However, that has not been the case, leaving most of them in denial and proper character development.

“We’ve a bewildered lot of tenderpreneur generation MPs who thought KK win was back to good ol’ skyteam days when they’d walk into a ministry, walk out with a project, walk into a parastatal walk out with a tender. They are about to get much needed character development,” Ndii wrote.

Kenya recently adopted the Electronic Government Procurement Systems (e-GP). This new system transformed the way governments purchase goods and services from suppliers.

One of the primary benefits of implementing an e-GP system in Kenya was increased efficiency in the procurement process. With the digitization of procurement processes, routine tasks such as documentation, vendor registration, and bid submission have been streamlined, reducing the time and effort needed to complete these tasks. This results in faster procurement cycles, shorter delivery times, and ultimately, improved efficiency in government procurement.

The system has also locked out those who received tenders without following the due process.
