Miguna Shares Details Of His Plan Against Those Behind His Dramatic Deportation To Canada

Date:

Lawyer Miguna Miguna has hinted at going after those who were responsible for his dramatic deportation to Canada in 2018.

Speaking on Friday, during his thanksgiving mass in Ahero, Kisumu county, the former aide of Raila Odinga said that he will seek justice in order to find reconciliation and peace.

“We will seek and get justice because without justice there can never be reconciliation and there can never be peace. Peace must be based on justice; peace and reconciliation cannot be based on falsehoods, on lies, on propaganda, on political hatchet jobs which are what we have had for the last five years. It is not a privilege for me to come home, it is my right,” Miguna said.

The lawyer arrived in Kisumu on Friday shortly after 4 pm, amid fears of chaos as several locals had threatened to eject him from the county, with some claiming that they did not have time for him.

He however urged leaders from Kisumu not to use youths to behave violently towards him since he was going to mourn his relatives who passed away while he was exiled. Miguna paid his last respects on Saturday.

“Paying my last respects to my sister-in-law and other relatives at Magina Village, Nyando Constituency, Kisumu County on 29th Oct 2022,” Miguna said.
