Thousands Of Hustlers From Kasarani Go Hungry After Being Denied Access To Statehouse

Date:

Thousands of hustlers from Kasarani stadium were on Tuesday forced to go hungry after they were banned from entering the statehouse.

President William Ruto had earlier given assurance that the statehouse gate would be opened to millions of hustlers after being sworn in. The president argued that it was these hustlers who gave him victory and it was only appropriate for them to enter statehouse without obstacles.

However, that was not the case as thousands of both Azimio and Ruto supporters found themselves stranded at the gate. Only those with invitation cards were being allowed by the hawk eyed security to get in and share the luncheon with president Ruto.

Feeling frustrated, majority of these youths camped at the gate with most of them deciding to leave the statehouse premise with empty stomach.

“I came to statehouse after our doyen made it clear that it will be open for everybody. I am disappointed that the security is not just allowing us to enter not unless you produce a VIP invitation card. Sasa mimi hustler nitatoa wapi VIP card surely? Complained one Kelvin Kinyanjui.

By the time of going to the press, our reporters on the ground confirmed that most people were still stranded at the various statehouse gates as late as 4PM with no hopes of accessing the coveted place.

President William Ruto was sworn in at the Kasarani stadium together with his  president Rigathi Gachagua. While delivering their speeches, the two leaders expressed their dissatisfaction with how they were mistreated with the government of president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Specifically, Gachagua stated that the long awaited freedom had finally come to the people of Kenya following the end of the Jubilee regime on Tuesday.
