Roots party leader Prof George Wajackoya has been on the top of the trending list over the past few days, something that has helped elevate his popularity as Kenyans prepare to elect the next government.
The introduction of snake farming and legalizing bhang, are some of his agendas that have kept his name in people’s mouths.
In a recent interview with a local radio station, Wajackoya excited Kenyans with his plans on the wheelbarrows that DP William Ruto has been donating to Kenyan youths.
The presidential aspirants called upon Kenyans to receive the wheelbarrows whenever they are issued out so that they can be used to transport bhang seedlings that will be grown after the August 9 general elections adding that he is offering a more realistic solution to unemployment unlike other presidential aspirants.
“They have been telling people they will create jobs for the past 50 years in every political season. Where will they find those jobs,” Wajackoya posed.
He however condemned leaders for using youth to cause violence saying that they were promoting bad habits among them.
“They are only given a small amount of money to go and throw stones at people. And if you see today’s politics, those who oppose us, their job is to insult us,” he said.
Wajackoya was granted a chance by IEBC to be on the ballot box after successfully meeting the requirements to vie for presidency. Others candidates vying for the country’s top seat are DP William Ruto(Kenya Kwanza), Raila Odinga (Azimio-OKA) and David Mwaure of the Agano party.
All independent aspirants were locked out of the race. Initially over 50 people had expressed interest in the presidency.
