Disappointed Moses Kuria Reacts After Martha Karua Refused To Follow His Footsteps

Date:

Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has made up her mind and decided to join Azimio la Umoja Movement.

Karua said that together with her party they will be supporting ODM leader Raila Odinga’s presidential candidature

“I am here to confirm that from now onwards Narc Kenya and I are supporting the Azimio presidential candidate , right honorable Raila Odinga and this is without any equivocation,” Karua said at the event that was held at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi.

According to Karua, there were some good people in Azimio, one of the factors that made her join the team. Initially Karua had said that both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza had corrupt leaders but she was weighing her options to see which side had a handful of good people that would be instrumental in liberating the country.

“I have been keenly looking and without much struggle, I have been able to identify a critical mass of good people within the Azimio coalition; that is all that is needed for the next liberation in this country,” Karua said.

Following her decision, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria conceded defeat in luring ‘his soulmate’ to DP William Ruto’s camp.

Through a Facebook post Kuria said that he respects Karua’s decision while hoping that the best team will win.

“I respect the decision by my sister Martha Karua to join Azimio just like she respected my decision to join the Kenya Kwanza Alliance. Ultimately Kenya is the winner and democracy will prevail. May the best team win,” Kuria said.

On Tuesday, Kuria had hoped that the Narc Kenya leader would join Kenya Kwanza and become DP Ruto’s  running mate while urging her to pick a side.

“I look forward to an imminent Ruto-Karua ticket to save this country from eternal dynastic domination and give hope to millions of children who went to school barefooted,” Kuria said.
