Defiant Aden Duale Tells Ruto To Stop Politics Of Deceit And Betrayal

Date:

Controversial Garrisa Township MP Aden Duale has dared deputy president William Ruto to stop the politics of deceit and betrayal.

Speaking during an interview with Gerald Bitok on Tuesday October 12th, Duale stressed that Kenyan politics is characterized by deceit and betrayal.

He claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta betrayed Ruto and that he confronted him about it about his beef with the DP several times.

“Not one but more than twenty times I asked the President what his Deputy President did to earn him humiliation and frustration. The President said he had nothing personal with Ruto and they were in good terms. It only shocked me when they began BBI thing that was meant to sideline William Ruto that’s when I knew betrayal was real,” said Duale.

The Garissa town MP also revealed that he was removed as National Assembly majority leader because he was against BBI.

“I told the President face to face that I was going to oppose the BBI bill. This forced him to convene an urgent meeting for Amos Kimunya to take my position.”

Garrisa Township MP further noted that all political bigwigs like Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi have been victims of betrayals and deceit.

“All these bigwigs politicians who are against Ruto are victims of betrayal. Raila, Kalonzo and Mudavadi are victims of betrayal…” said Duale.

Duale called on Ruto to stop the politics of deceit and betrayal, he said the DP must sanitize the country and change how Kenya’s politics should be done.

“Am asking Ruto to sanitise Kenya’s politics. He must distance himself from politics of deceit and betrayal,” Duale said.

Duale, who was once a diehard ally of Uhuru Kenyatta, stressed that nothing is permanent in politics and as such he stopped supporting the president in favor of Ruto.
