Media personality and businesswoman Betty Kyallo is over the moon after landing a lucrative deal with an internationally acclaimed film.
Announcing the good news via her social media accounts, Betty said that she would work as the Unit Publicist for the film titled “Half chance; The Great Gamble’.
“It is extremely remarkable that this Movie Script was Number 3 Worldwide out of 2,447 scripts submitted at the 7th Annual Screen Craft Contest for Sports Drama. It is expected to have a World Premiere at the 72nd Berlin Festival next year,” Betty revealed.
She went on to say that she will also play a role in the film that will be distributed by Miramax Films.
“I am happy excited and proud to work with the absolutely talented team of Kenyan Young Creatives in this Film that will be distributed by Miramax Films. Apart from being the Unit Publicist, I shall also have a role in the Fantastic Film which is predicted to win The hearts of big players in the Global Film industry,” she said on Instagram.
As soon as she posted, her followers congratulated her on her new job while others complimented her for the great work she is doing.
“Congratulations @bettymuteikyallo you never disappoint keep the fire burning some ,” a follower wrote
However one fan took the opportunity to beg Betty for a job.
“I’m sorry for this. Can you help me secure a job, Mimi sitaki pesa I just need job,” read the comment.
A unit publicist is responsible for collaboration between the various members of the production, cast, crew and media as the film shoot takes place.
They oversee the unit press and publicity budgets to remain on track under the direction of the producer.
