Arsenal Defeats Manchester United At Old Trafford For The First time Since 2006

Arsenal has thrashed Manchester United one nil at Old Trafford. In a hotly contested game this evening by the two rival teams, the Gunners put up a spirited fight to defeat the Red Devils.

Arteta’s men outsmarted Ole Gunnar in the sixty ninth minute through a penalty. The Penalty was taken by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang following a fault by the United’s Paul Pogba.

The game started on a high note with the two teams going neck and neck with each other. They went to a goalless first half.

The latest results has seen Manchester United move far much below the table to position 15 from the initial position 12. On the other hand, Arsenal has moved high on the table to position nine in the wake of securing three points.

Liverpool now leads the table at sixteen points, followed by Tottenham Hotspur at fourteen points followed by Everton at thirteen points. Others closer to the top include Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers at number four and five respectively. Chelsea follows at position five with Burnley being the last on the premier league standing.
