Kipchoge Loses London Marathon

The world of the marathon has been left in shock after four-time marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge failed to defend his London Marathon title.

Kipchoge also registered his worst personal record outside Olympics in the Sunday afternoon race.

The great marathoner began struggling after the 35km mark, something the athletic world hasn’t witnessed in his decorated career on the roads.

The race was won by 24-year old Ethiopian athlete Shura Kitata with Kenya’s Vincent Kipchumba second.
