Sultana, is another TV series that has gotten Kenyans glued on Citizen TV, every weekday at 7.30pm.
The programme replaced Zora which ended in March after gracing the screens for close to a year.
Sultana series is a story of a blind girl, born in a wealthy family but was switched at birth after it was believed that she was dead.
Her father, Major Jabali, was so obsessed with getting a child and specifically a baby boy as an heir to his wealth. His house manager and the midwife that delivered Sultana were forced to switch her with another baby boy(Jabali Junior) that Salama(the midwife) had helped deliver the same night but his mother died.
Sultana was therefore brought up with Salama. Only Salama and the house manager are aware that Jabali Junior is not Major’s real child.
Sultana’s real mother in the programme also has her doubts about being Jabali Junior’s mother, something that made her family believe that she was out of her mind.
The story revolves around love, wealth and family affairs and it is believed that in the end Sultana and Jabali Junior will end up together.
