Murang’a Women Rep Sabina Chege has distanced herself from a twitter account under her name with a post claiming that she is being pursued by UDA.
Taking to her official account that was created in July 2012, Chege called upon her supporters to ignore anything from that account and all the other fake accounts under her name.
She also urged the service provider to verify her official account in a bid to end the confusion.
“@Twitter kindly verify my account, I have patiently waited for your response, there are so many fake accounts under my name- please. Guys this is my real account-Ignore the rest like this one below. Blessed weekend,” Sabina Chege said on Saturday morning.
A post from Chege’s parody account claimed that she had gotten several calls and messages from UDA members popularly known as Tangatanga who were willing to give her money so as to earn her support. but was asking them to use the money they wanted to give her so that she could join them for more useful things.
“13 missed calls, 7 messages, 11 please call me, 4 I tried calling you. Hey, can someone tell this Tanga Tanga fools I won’t turn back. They should use the money they want to give me to buy brains for them to reduce the insults,” read the tweet.
