Bobi Wine however said the meeting was for all regions in the country and received an endorsement to carry the issues of Ugandans.

“It is on that note that I come for your blessing and endorsement to take on this leadership. Being from the Buganda Kingdom, I pledge that once I get the blessing, I won’t let you down but I will make sure that I front the issues of Buganda,” Mr. Kyagulanyi said as reported by the Daily Monitor.

Bobi Wine said the Buganda Kingdom does not endorse candidates or political parties but advises to look out for the aspirants who stand for the issues of the community.

“Young people that aspire for leadership positions should tell us the solutions they bring. How do you plan to handle the Buganda question? How are you going to deal with Buganda’s five aspirational objectives? I think such is the key question that all aspiring youthful leaders must provide answers to,” the daily quoted the young MP.

The Kingdom stands for federalism, restoring, restoring land, and demarcating its boundaries, development, and unity.
