Keroche Heiress Anerlisa Muigai has opened up on what she promised her family following the sudden demise of her sister Tecra Muigai.
Taking to social media, Anerlisa revealed that she promised her family she would lose weight until she looked like her late sister Tecra.
According to Anerlisa, everybody in her family misses Tecra, and she has worked on her body weight so that when they look at her, they see a replica of the late Tecra.
“My family and I miss Tecra so much that I promised I will lose weight to her size every time they look at me, they see her but when I speak, they hear my voice. God bless Us all,” shared Anerlisa Muigai. The Nero Company CEO added that currently, she weighed 62Kgs down from 76Kgs back in 2018.
Tecra Muigai died in May this year after she succumbed due to head injuries from falling down a flight of stairs. Two days after her death, her lover, identified as Omar, was arrested and detained for 21 days. He was arrested and released just before he could take a plea. The 54-year-old man was released after the DPP applied to terminate the case.
However, reports from two pathologists questioned the falling story. The postmortem showed Tecra had multiple head injuries, all of which could not have been caused by a fall from a flight of stairs. Government pathologist Johansen Oduor said that the injuries were not likely to be caused by one impact. He said that the observation indicated blunt object injury as well as a possible fall.
Reports by another consultant pathologist Andrew Gachii made a similar observation. “There are multiple impact sites as well as deep injuries, which suggest both blunt object blow injuries as well as a possible fall,” Gachii wrote as his 14 pages report conclusion.

The news of Tecra’s death disturbed her sister Anerlisa who took to social media to mourn her several times. Anerlisa shared photos she took with her late sister accompanied by rose flowers and a heart. In another post, she shared a family statement accompanied by a broken heart. Until her death, Tecra worked as the strategy and information director at Keroche Breweries.
“While we mourn the loss of a remarkable young lady, we also celebrate her life and hope it serves as an example to young people around the world to work hard to make their dreams come true and to be willing to explore and push their limits,” read the statement.
Anerlisa introduced her late sister to the limelight early this year. “She just hates the spotlight and that is why I don’t post her on my page even if it’s a family photo,” she wrote.
