ZeNdiambo: Ruto And Exray Should Pay Me For Using ‘Sipangwingwi’ Without My Approval

Date:

Reggae MC ZeNdiambo has come out to demand that deputy president William Ruto and Exray pay him for copyright infringement to ‘Sipangwingwi’.

According to ZeNdiambo, he is the man behind the famous phrase ‘Sipangwingwi’ and as such holds exclusive rights to it.

Zendiambo claims that he first approached Exray when they released their song ‘Sipangwingwi’ where he only wanted 10% from them.

“Nliweza kumfikia nkamwambia yakwamba nimeone mumetoa wimbo ya ‘Sipangwingwi’ ambaye inafanya vizuri an nashukuru. Lakini jamani sifikirii kama ni vizuri mulivyofanya bila kunihusisha. They didn’t involve me in any kind of way,” MC ZeNdiambo said during an interview with Tuko.

The reggae MC further said that Exray dismissed him when he requested to be paid over the use of ‘Sipangwingwi’ wihtout his approval.

“Nlikua nataka tu wacome out clear because everyone knows by the end of the day ‘Sipangwingwi’ haijakua big ju ati ju venye wameanza kuimba. We have records on media, ‘Sipangwingwi’ imekua challenge inapigwa pale Tik Tok saaana saana kama basi umekua keen. Itatokea leo ati Exray aseme ‘Sipangwingwi’ ni ya streets, nataka basi nimwambie hivi kama sipangwingi ni ya streets basi mimi ndo streets.”

ZeNdiambo also revealed that he approached Ruto over the use of ‘Sipangwingwi’. HHe claims that he went to the DP office but was turned away by security.

The reggae MC not only wants Ruto to pay him for using ‘Sipangwingwi’ but to also hire him. He wants to work with the DP in his campaigns since he is the founder of the phrase.
