“You’ll Be Caught Even If You Hide Next To God” Dida Fires At Waiguru As She Cries Foul

Date:

Presidential hopeful Abduba Dida has dared Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru to face the law instead of crying foul even before she is prosecuted for her corrupt dealings.

Waiguru slammed state agencies amid fears of her imminent arrest following a report by People Daily that detectives were closing in on her.

On Thursday October 28th, People Daily newspaper reported that detectives were finalizing investigations into corruption allegations at the Kirinyaga county government, which could see Waiguru arrested as early as next week.

The report said that the EACC has concluded investigations into the planned payment of millions of shillings for a dubious land survey tender by the Kirinyaga County government and payment of questionable allowances to the governor and county officials.

But Waiguru said the move by EACC and DCI have been escalated by her recent defection to the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) which is associated with William Ruto.

“Surely, barely 48hrs after we decamped to UDA & now this? As a believer in the rule of law this is unfortunate. It’s intention is to dissuade those contemplating the same & an attempt at engineering succession politics. it wont work. Kenyans are not stupid. There is God in heaven,” Waiguru tweeted.

Abduba Dida quickly reacted to Waiguru’s tweeted to offer her free advice on her looming arrest over graft.

Dida called on the besieged Kirinyaga governor Waiguru to have her date with a judge over the graft case for a hearing and not to evade arrest.

He said that the law would still catch up with Waiguru even if she went hiding next to God to evade arrest.

“Please. Just have your date with the judge first. I believe that the law would have still caught up with you, even if you went hiding next to God,” Mwalimu Dida tweeted.
