Child serial killer Masten Wanjala has not yet been buried nearly a month after he was killed. His father has added a new twist into his cult activities.
Wanjala confessed to killing a total of 13 children after sexually molesting them and drinking their blood.
When he was arrested, he led police to shallow graves where he dumped bodies of the minors who he brutally killed.
Wanjala was killed after escaping from Jogoo Road Police Station were he had been detained as police conducted investigations before he could arraigned him in court.
The self-confessed child serial killer returned home in Bungoma county after escaping from police custody only to be lynched by an irate mob that cornered him on October 15th.
The serial killer’s father Robert Watila Wanjala while speaking to KTN revealed that his late son was initiated into a cult by a close relative.
The senior Wanjala disclosed that his late son told him that his own mother was the one who initiated him into the practice of killing and drinking children’s blood.
“Aliniambia baba, mama yangu ndio aliniingiza kwa hii maneno, wewe naomba tu msamaha, unisamehe pamoja na mama,” said Robert Wanjala.
Masten Wanjala was brought up by his mother as a single parent, the serial killer only rejoined his father at the age of 17 – he was 20 years old when he was killed.
Meanwhile elders from the Bukusu community insist that some rituals must be conducted on the body of the slain child serial killer before he is laid to rest.
