A 31-year old Woman from Brazil wants to divorce herself, three months after marrying herself in a colourful wedding.
Cris Galera, a model, wants to divorce herself after meeting someone special and that she is starting to fall in love.
Cris said that she was tired of relying on men and that’s why she chose to marry herself in September this year.
“I was happy while it lasted,” she allegedly told a Brazil local daily while speaking about the divorce.
“I started to believe in love the moment I met someone else special,” she added.
In a past interview while speaking about her marriage, the model said that ,”I reached a point where I matured, I realized that I am a strong and determined woman. I was always afraid of being alone, but I realized that I needed to learn to feel good about myself. When that happened, I decided to celebrate it.”
On her wedding day, Cris posed for photos in front of the Sao Paulo Catholic church. She stunned in a white long gown that showed off her tattoos and a beaded necklace.
The model was trolled but she said that she would not pay attention to them.
“I decided that I would no longer read the hate comments. People’s opinion will not change what I think or add anything to it,” the 31-year old said.
Last year December, another woman from Australia became a subject of discussion in social media after making vows to herself in church.
Ayuol Manyok took the step claiming that she was tired of men breaking her heart.
“Sick of this niggas, so I made vows to myself,” she shared in twitter accompanied by her photo in a wedding gown.
