Deputy president William Samoei Ruto and the opposition leader Raila Amollo Odinga have put forward the best brains in IT ahead of the August general elections.
Just a month to the general elections, the presidential candidates have each tapped two men believed to be information technology gurus to help them clinch the victory come 9th of August.
The two include Davies Chirchir and George Njoroge. According to a local publication, Mr. Chirchir holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Nairobi University and a Master of Business Administration from the Royal Holloway University in London.
On the other hand, Mr. Njoroge holds an MBA in Global Business and a degree in ICT from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and is also a member of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE)
Both the two IT experts are expected to do magic and deliver victory by ensuring that no external force tries any monkey business on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) server.
However, most Kenyans now believe that Davies Chirchir is just overrated and that he has no magic that will make the Kenya Kwanza side victorious.
These Kenyans argued that if Davis Chirchir was a genius, then the former Information Communication Technology manager Mr. Chris Musando did not have to lose his life ahead of the 2017 general elections.
They argued that Mr. Chirchir ought to have used his so-called skills to tamper with the IEBC server instead of the ICT director losing his life to benefit those who wanted to rig the 2017 general elections.
“Hehe look at this one called Davis Chirchir. Personally I don’t believe the guy is an IT guru because Chris Musando could be alive today. Someone had to take the life of Musando to gain access therefore i dont believe that the party that gained from that had competent IT gurus.”
